summer rain

oh winter

is this the longest winter ever or what?! i saw this over on philebrity (read the article here) and we all know my appreciation for passive aggressive notes. this one particularly hits home as i know the feeling of digging out a car for 3 hours, not wanting to be a jerk by putting something out to save the spot, then coming home to find someone has taken it. so then you get all defensive and mark your spot with a chair or trash can or what not, all the while muttering "i never thought i'd be the kind of person that does this kind of thing". but desperate times call for desperate measures. and i mean, if everyone else is doing it....

i am eagerly awaiting spring but man, it has a lot to live up to!

i saw this dessert on sandra juto's blog recently and it looks so good. but when i wiki'ed it, it doesn't sound as awesome as it looks. but maybe i'm wrong. have you ever had one?

saw this song/video by jamie lidell on for me, for you and it really is a great pick me up song. i think i'm going to listen to it a lot over the next few days as winter dumps yet another foot of snow on top of the foot we already got this weekend. blah. where is springtime???
