i love this no nonsense sign. it was a rest stop in west texas. i wish i would have had time to go inside. i bet the interior is awesome. next time...oh wait...i'm never going back to texas

oddly enough, girard decorators seems to be out of business. i really wish i knew what the rest of this sign said before it was painted over.

my job has allowed me to travel to some awesome places. this last shoot took me to marfa texas. it was really cool and i'd like to some day go back and hang out on a vacation. check out the rest of my pictures here.

new beginnings

so i have given my notice at urban after six long years. i'm going to throw my energy into starting my own eco friendly housekeeping business which i have named lean green clean. i'm really excited about this new adventure. and scared. but anything's better than what i'm doing now. for now, instead of a website i have a blog - check it out here. and wish me luck!

casey posted about finding one of these claes oldenburg totes at an estate sale over on her blog. since i have seen it, i've become obsessed. i really need one. if anyone sees one in their travels and rumaging - it's mine!

back off

the food stealer at work strikes again! as does the passive aggressive notes! this note went up on the fridge a few weeks ago. i love it!

in other news i am stuck at the dallas airport, sleeping on a cot that makes farting noises each time i move. my flight from dallas to philly was canceled late last night and of course all the hotel rooms are booked. so many flights were canceled. i do feel lucky that i was able to score a cot but it still doesn't make things any better. i was going to post a picture of my little bedroom set up here but honestly it makes me sad and definitely does not make me laugh....
