i love this no nonsense sign. it was a rest stop in west texas. i wish i would have had time to go inside. i bet the interior is awesome. next time...oh wait...i'm never going back to texas

my job has allowed me to travel to some awesome places. this last shoot took me to marfa texas. it was really cool and i'd like to some day go back and hang out on a vacation. check out the rest of my pictures here.

the food stealer at work strikes again! as does the passive aggressive notes! this note went up on the fridge a few weeks ago. i love it!

in other news i am stuck at the dallas airport, sleeping on a cot that makes farting noises each time i move. my flight from dallas to philly was canceled late last night and of course all the hotel rooms are booked. so many flights were canceled. i do feel lucky that i was able to score a cot but it still doesn't make things any better. i was going to post a picture of my little bedroom set up here but honestly it makes me sad and definitely does not make me laugh....

the restaurant that was in the hotel we were staying at had this posted in it's window. i'm assuming it is the same kind of warning they have to post about artificial sweeteners like equal or whatever but it's still crazy. and clearly did not stop me from eating there a bunch of times or pouring the pink sugar into my coffee. wish me luck.

also the fact that they capitalized the first letter of each word drives me crazy!!

ok this is a weird one. i am in LA right now working on our spring catalog shoot. i just got back to my hotel room and noticed a super strong shampoo or soap smell as soon as i walked in. i went to the bathroom to take my contacts out and discovered where the smell was coming from. my bathroom floor which is covered with bubbly foamy stuff. i haven't the slightest idea of what it is exactly but it is the weirdest thing i've ever come home to!!! i don't think the pictures really do the situation justice but you get the idea. so weird!
