meat cake

it was my friend seth's birthday and his brother made him a meat cake. yup, you read correctly - meat cake. a cake made out of meat. different kinds of pate, wrapped in bacon, garnished with gerkins. when they cut into it, the smell was so overpowering i had to step outside. it was pretty much the most disgusting food item i've ever seen but you also have to marvel in the beauty of it...

it has been one full year since i left my job at urban to start my own business. and what a year it's been. also i have not had a mcgriddle in at least 3 weeks!

it actually makes me cry

kate just shared this video with me and i'm totally crying. they are the cutest. and the one looks just like a baby maggie!!! now i'm totally going to waste the rest of my night looking up puppy videos. is this really my life now? i guess i'm kinda ok with it.
