ok this is a weird one. i am in LA right now working on our spring catalog shoot. i just got back to my hotel room and noticed a super strong shampoo or soap smell as soon as i walked in. i went to the bathroom to take my contacts out and discovered where the smell was coming from. my bathroom floor which is covered with bubbly foamy stuff. i haven't the slightest idea of what it is exactly but it is the weirdest thing i've ever come home to!!! i don't think the pictures really do the situation justice but you get the idea. so weird!
if you know me even a little bit, you know i'm totally into doritos. i've never met a dorito that i didn't like. tonight at wawa (yes zach and i got dinner from there) i saw there was a new collision kind is out - pizza ranch. pretty awesome. but my all time favorite will always be the guacamole doritos. even though i have made myself sick on them on more than one occasion. i tend to also do this with combos.
my nephew is a musical genius at age 3 (almost 3 i should say). he loves shredding on his guitar, building giant drum kits and now playing the video game rock band. his favorite song to request is this monkey's gone to heaven by the pixies, or as he calls it monkey gone to kevin.
my husband is a funny guy. so witty. in other news, i thought the name tags were such a great touch to the birthday party.
i just spent a good half hour trying to work out a fairly simple algebraic question. and let me tell you my brain hurts and so does my ego. high school math wasn't THAT long ago, was it? and the kicker is that i didn't figure it out on my own. i had to ask someone over in accounting and i still only sort of understand. then i had to call zach and have him re-explain it to me. now i understand but my brain still hurts. i think i'm going to go lay down.
i found this in a box of old family photos. pretty amazing. i think our routine was to prince's party like it's 1999. i mean, obviously, as if you couldn't tell by our outfits....i am now available for any and all comments, jokes, insults, etc.
i am not really into sports especially watching them on tv but last night was so exciting. the phillies won the 2008 world series and the city erupted in celebration. the celebration continues tomorrow with a parade down broad street. should make for some interesting stories.

last weekend i said goodbye to my childhood home. it's going to be weird to go back to morgantown and not really go home! so many memories.

some friends and i went to see the gee's bends quilts exibit at the philadelphia art museum today. it was really awesome and i definitely recommend checking it out sometimes. and for those of you who are on a budget, sundays' admissions is "donate what you wish". for more information on the gee's bend quilts, go here. this exibit inspired me to finally make that quilt i've been thinking about. we'll see if i actually follow through with it!
